DUST is the gas token on the Midnight Network, required for all transaction fees. It is generated passively by holders of NIGHT tokens on the Cardano blockchain.
To start generating DUST, you must register your Cardano reward address (starting with stake1...) through the Nethermind DUST Generator DApp. Once registered, DUST accrues each epoch based on your NIGHT balance.
Your generation rate and capacity depend on the amount of NIGHT tokens you hold. The more NIGHT, the faster your DUST accumulates and the higher your maximum capacity.
